Summer of Fashion

Hello lovlies, so I wanted to give you a little inside at my summer style. Summer is awesome and kind of complicated at the same time. Sometimes it's so hot, that wearing a cute outfit just is not in the cards for the day. But when the weather agrees, a cute outfit is definitely in the cards. Hallelujah!

I've been inspired lately by my upcoming trip to California in July. I can't wait to shop and find some great things to show you guys, but for now, I will show you what I'm wearing around town and when I get the chance to put on a cute outfit for the day. Lets just jump right into it!

I've gotten a few new items since summer has started, so I will update my recent finds page if you're interested in any of the new things I bought.
In the first picture I'm wearing my sister's shirt actually and I'm not sure where it's from, but I know it's based off of Pretty Little Liars. My jeans are from American Eagle and they are some of my favorite jeans. They're jeggings and they're high-waisted. As I've gotten older, I prefer jeans that have a general higher waist and shorts that are also longer and not as tight. My shoes are from Old Navy and I got them on sale for $14! They're so comfy and I literally wear them all the time. This hat. I'm in love with this hat. It's light weight and has a black band around the top. I bought it at Charlotte Russe for $14 as well.
The second picture is one of my favorites because of these adorable shoes. I was on the hunt for the perfect pair of sandal booties and I ended up finding these at Khols for $30! They're the brand Mudd and they're super comfortable. I love how they can be dressed up and dressed down. Both my shirt and my shorts are past season. My top is from J.Crew and my shorts are from Delia's. An accessory I've been obsessed with is this necklace I'm wearing in two of the three pictures. I bought it at Khols back in February and never knew I'd get so much wear out of it. It's a layered necklace and layering jewelry is very hot right now!
The final picture is this dress I found at Forever 21 and fell in love with it. It's a cotton tunic dress that's super comfortable and could also be worn as casual or dressy. I paired it with my Old Navy tennis shoes and my trendy hat from Charlotte Russe along with my layerd necklace from Khols. Dresses like these are perfect for days when you want to look cute but don't want to put in a ton of effort. I'm not usually one for dresses and I love this dress.
I hope you all enjoyed a sneak peak into my summer style. I'm going to keep posting weekly some of my outfits so that you all can see what I've been wearing this summer. And, like I've said before, don't think you have to stick to one type of style, experiment, try new things, make sure you love what you're wearing!

xoxo, tori
