OOTD #4 : Mixing Patterns

Hello lovelies! Sorry for the absence lately. I've been really busy! I did film a fashion haul video that I will definitely have up this week to keep checking YouTube and I will also let you all know when that is up. But I wanted to show you all my cute little outfit for today. I went out to eat with my dad for my birthday, that was over a month ago, hehe! I wanted something cute but not over the top dressed up. So this is what I came up with. I LOVE mixing patterns. It's probably one of my favorite parts about fashion. If you follow me on Instagram you would've seen my outfit I posted last weekend. It was one of my mixed pattern outfits. I had on a striped shirt, polka dot pants, and I also had my cheetah print Kate Spade bag (I'll post it on here as well). Today I went with polka dots and cheetah print. The thing is, everyone gets so scared to mix patterns, when really it's super easy! Don't be nervous! Start out with stripes and plaid or stripes in polka dots and then start adding in more complex patterns such as animal prints, paisley, or floral. One important thing to remember is to make sure that the colors of your patterns complement each other. Otherwise, it can look like a jumbled up mess and we do not want that! I want all of you looking beautiful. (: So with out further or due here is my outfit and if you have any other questions about mixing patterns feel free to leave a comment!

xoxo, tori
